Ethanol products and biomass electricity from the selection of quality sugarcane varieties of Thailand through the production process to produce ethanol, electric power and utilities with the integration of new technologies and innovations to produce clean and environmentally friendly energy.
Ethanol is a type of alcohol, which GGC KTIS BioIndustrial Co., Ltd. has produced from sugar cane which is considered clean energy through the extraction process, then pass on to the Evaporation process, Fermentation process and Distillation process with modern machinery and technology until becoming ethanol with a purity of 99.8%. This is utilized to mix with benzene to produce gasohol as another alternative energy. GGC KTIS BioIndustrial Co., Ltd. can produce ethanol that meets the fuel grade ethanol industry standard (TIS. 640-Book 3-2553) with a production capacity of up to 600,000 liters per day. The company is committed to driving the energy business by integrating personnel modern technology, management and quality control in every process, ready to drive the power of creativity towards development goals of environmental products with sustainable value at the international level to increase production capacity to meet the demand further.

It is one of the Company's renewable energy businesses that produce biomass electricity and steam from sugarcane pulp and agricultural waste to be used in circulation within the sugarcane crushing process, Evaporation process, Fermentation process and Distillation process and in other processes in the company. In addition, the remains are sold to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and the Provincial Electricity authority to deliver to homes and communities with a power generation capacity of 85 megawatts and 475 tons of steam per hour which is considered a large producer of biomass electric power. It brings the sugarcane pulp of suitable size into the combustion chamber of the boiler. Electricity generated from generators shall be sent through voltage reduction transformers for use in power plants and other production processes of the company.
The rest of the energy shall be passed to the transformer to increase the voltage for further distribution. As for the steam, it is obtained from the cooling tower system of the power plant which is a closed system which consists of a condenser and a cooling tower. The condenser is for condensing the steam that passes out of the turbine by heat exchange coolant that has passed through the condenser which has a higher temperature, it is then sent for cooling to the cooling tower where it will be recycled. The high-pressure steam from the boiler is fed to the steam turbine to convert the thermal energy of the steam into mechanical energy which is used to spin the generator and continue to generate electricity.
Industrial wastewater is wastewater that contains higher amounts of impurities and contaminants than municipal wastewater, in this regard, such impurities and contaminants shall vary according to the type of business of the industrial plant. The chemicals or wastewater produced by industrial plants cannot be eliminated by natural means. As the world's leading producer of PLA bioplastics, Nature Works company has undertaken a project to establish a bioplastics plant at the Nakhon Sawan Bio Complex project, therefore has signed a contract to hire GGC KTIS BioIndustrial Co., Ltd. which is equipped with technology and understands the process of eliminating industrial waste to treat wastewater to become clean water of good quality which can be re-used or continue to be released into natural water reservoirs.
