GGC KTIS BioIndustrial Co., Ltd. (GKBI) is a 50:50 joint venture between GGC Biochemical Co., Ltd., a company in the Global Green Chemicals Public Company Limited group or GGC which is a limited company whose main business is biochemical production and biological chemistry and KTIS Bioethanol Co., Ltd. (KTBE), a subsidiary of Kaset Thai International Sugar Corporation Public Company Limited or KTIS, holding 100% shares, which is a limited company operating business of Ethanol production from molasses. Both companies signed a joint venture agreement on 24 December 2018 to establish GGC KTIS BioIndustrial Co., Ltd. to operate the project "Nakhon Sawan Bio Complex (NBC)" with the objective of operating a business of producing environmentally friendly products, oleochemical, biofuels, biochemicals, bioplastics and power plants.

The investment in the first phase of the Nakhon Sawan Bio Complex project. The total investment will not exceed 7,500 million baht for the construction of 3 factories, namely a sugarcane crushing plant with a capacity of 24,000 tons per day, an ethanol plant with a capacity of 6 hundred thousand liters per day and a power and steam plant with an installed capacity of 85 megawatts of electricity and 475 tons of steam per hour. The source of funds for this project shall come from the capital of each shareholder, not more than 1,300 million baht, totaling 2,600 million baht, and the remaining amount shall be from loans from domestic financial institutions.
